​Spending the night with Duke yesterday had been everything. He was a great lover. The dick was good the head was bomb and his condo was the shit. Plus I could tell he was smart as fuck. I should be the happiest bitch right now. But I wasn’t.

​I’d left his condo this morning and gone back home to get some sleep. But Tyrese’s ass invaded my sleep when I closed my eyes. I don’t know why this man had this grip on me. It was crazy. I couldn’t stop thinking about him. It really hurt me that he didn’t want to be seen in public with me yet. Even after Leah left him and was happy with someone else, he still wasn’t trying to take me outside of 4 walls because he wanted to preserve her feelings. What about mine? I’d been fucking him for years now and, yeah, I’d caught feelings. The least he could do was take me out. Its not like he didn’t care about me. I know he did. Why were Leahs feelings more important than mine?

​I exhaled in frustration. This was so fucked up. I rolled over in bed and glanced at my phone. My blinds were pulled so I didn’t even know what time it was. I almost fell out the bed when I saw it was going on 10:30pm! But more than that I saw I had two missed calls from Tyrese. I sat up so quickly I let go of the phone and it fell to the floor.

​“Shit!” I cursed, jumping out the bed and falling to my knees to find my phone. It slid under the bed but after a minute of grunting and reaching I finally found it. I sat on the floor with my back against the side of my bed and dialed his number again. Looks like he had called me just about 2 hours ago. Fuck, I hated missing calls from him. Even though I was so mad at him yesterday which was the main reason I’d gone out with Duke, I wanted to hear his voice.

​“What’s up Shante?” his voice said over the phone and I breathed a sigh of relief that he wasn’t busy.

​“Hey Ty. I was sleeping. What’s up?” I said with a smile on my face.

​“Oh which nigga got you tired you cant pick up my phone call?” he said and I rolled my eyes. I know Tyrese had bitches littered everywhere so he couldn’t be seriously asking me what I was doing when I wasn’t with him. Especially when he was the one who blew me off.

​“No one you need to worry about. What you doin?” I asked.

​“Chillin. I was thinking about you though and what we talked about yesterday,” he said.

​I raised my eyebrow. “Oh yeah? What were you thinking?”

​“I wasn’t trying to hurt your feelings yesterday when I told you I couldn’t go out with you yet,” he said. I held my breath. This was definitely not what I was expecting.
